VASCO: An illegal kiosk at Vasco market area were demolished by the Mormugao Municipal Council staff, on Friday.
Recently, some vendors had overnight erected a kiosk near T B Cunha circle at Vasco. This angered the municipal councilors, who demanded immediate demolition of the same.
Councillor Lavina De Souza informed that there is a chamber from which the entire waste water of the market moves out.
“Nobody is allowed to erect any kiosk at that spot just to ensure that during monsoon, that chamber line need to be cleaned after it gets chocked. Even one person who was willing to put kiosk at the spot was not permitted to do before,” she said.
