MAPUSA: Mapusa police seized stacks of illegally extracted sand at Camurlim during a raid on Wednesday.
A team of Mapusa police found around 15 stacks of extracted sand.
DySp Gajanan Prabhudessai and PI Tushar Lotlikar also visited the spot.
Offences are registered under Section 379 of IPC and Section 62 of Goa Minor Mineral Rules. The sand will be handed over to Mines Department.
