PANJIM: The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) on Wednesday clarified that the illegal structure ordered to be demolished was situated outside the boundary of Cuncolim Industrial Estate.
Managing Director of Goa IDC Pravimal Abhishek said, “The illegal construction is situated outside the Cuncolim Industrial Estate and not inside it. As soon as I saw the report, I asked the South Goa Collector what was happening and he told me that the (demolition) order has mentioned the survey number. It (illegal structure) has nothing to do as it is not inside of the industrial estate.”
“The only clarification we want to place on record is that it (illegal construction) is not inside the Cuncolim Industrial Estate. It is outside the industrial estate. The survey number has been specified in the order and as per the survey number the structure does not fall in the industrial estate,” Abhishek said.
Meanwhile, the entire illegal shed structure with GI pipes in survey number 303/3 of village Cuncolim carried out by the Global Ispaat Ltd will be demolished.
