MARGAO: Cuncolim Police on Monday raided one abandoned kiosk situated near Seventh Heaven Car Washing Centre, IDC Cuncolim and seized illegally stored liquor worth Rs 27,170.
The raid was conducted under direction of Police Inspector Sachin Panalkar, PSI Rahul Naik and Cuncolim police staff.
The seized liquor, police said, was later handed over to Margao Excise Department for further formalities.
In another raid, Sanguem Police on Monday conducted a raid on a private place at Uguem, Sanguem and seized illegally stored liquor worth Rs 3,976.
Sanguem Police Station Police Inspector Hiru Kavleker along with staff conducted the raid.
