MARGAO: Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro on Thursday said the illumination of the Ganesh idol Visarjan site near Mandopa, Navelim Bridge has been undertaken and the same will be completed soon.
On Wednesday, the MLA along with Parish Priest of Our Lady of Rosary Church, Navelim Fr Gabriel Coutinho, Telaulim Deputy Sarpanch Adv Rima Dias, Panch Malima and Assistant Engineers Kovindra Naik and Mamta Aldonkar inspected the progress of the installation work of four new transformers in Telaulim and Navelim.
“We also visited the First Ward of Telaulim where new transformers are to be installed,” he said. This was followed by a site visit to Ravora (near Mandopa Bridge) and Fradilem (near St Francis Xavier Chapel) to oversee the work of installing two new transformers.
