IMA Goa receives 8 national awards

PANJIM: Indian Medical Association (IMA) Goa State has received eight National Awards which honour the active participation of IMA Goa in national level activities as well as the activities carried out at local branches level. IMA Goa becomes the state to receive maximum awards received in a year. 

IMA Goa was represented at IMA National Conference NATCON 2022 held on 26th-28th December at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh by Dr Amol Tilve, Secretary IMA Goa State. He also attended the meeting of the Central Council held at the NATCON 2022.

IMA Goa was honoured with record setting Eight National Awards at the NATCON 2022, for all the activities under taken under the IMA banner.

Tilve received the President’s Appreciation Award for Best Adjudged Secretary of State. He received the award from National President Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh.

Dr Lloyd Desouza, Secretary IMA Bardez and Dr Anand Dalvi, Secretary IMA Tiswadi received the National President’s Appreciation Award for Best Adjudged Secretary of Local Branch Award (Shared). Dr Vishwaraj Mhalshekar received the President’s Award for Best Young Doctor.

While IMA Bardez was honoured with the IMA Membership Development Award for Local Branch for maximum new members’ enrolment and IMA Tiswadi was honoured with National President’s Appreciation Award for Best Doctor’s day Celebration. The Women Doctors Wing of IMA Goa State was honoured with two National President’s Appreciation Awards to Dr Purnima Usgaonkar and Dr Shraddha Mulgaonkar Patil.
