PANJIM: The Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) has clarified that the incident involving the nailing of internet modems onto trees near the municipal garden in Panjim is not associated with its Goa Integrated Common Management System (GICMS) or any other projects under our purview.
Reacting to the photograph published by O Heraldo in its edition dated February 17, 2024, under heading ‘Planting Pain’, the IPSCDL said, “This action appears to have been carried out by a private internet provider and is not condoned by us. We remain committed to sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives in our Smart City mission, and such unauthorized actions are not a reflection of our values or practices.”
