PANJIM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the likelihood of light to moderate rain and thundershowers in various locations over the next four days. Although Goa experienced sunny and warm weather on Monday, the forecast includes the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty windsspeeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph at isolated places on Tuesday.
This uncharacteristic heat for November has raised concerns among locals who typically anticipate cooler conditions during this part of the year. According to the IMD, these warmer conditions are expected to persist in various parts of the country, with both day and night temperatures remaining higher than usual.
This forecast serves as a reminder to residents and visitors to exercise caution and remain prepared, as unusual weather patterns may disrupt daily routines and outdoor activities.
