The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Goa, predicting scattered light rainfall across the state on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
Recent unanticipated rainfall raised concerns among locals, although it brought a welcomed drop in temperatures. However, ongoing weather patterns have shown a consistent uptick in rainfall since the beginning of the month, particularly affecting areas like Salcette, Bardez, and Tiswadi.
In both the northern and southern districts, the IMD has cautioned about a partly cloudy sky, with anticipated maximum and minimum temperatures hovering around 33°C and 24°C, respectively. Projections from the IMD indicate that minimum temperatures are likely to remain above normal for the next three days, prolonging warmer conditions even during the winter season.
