Panjim: For the very first time, the Goa Board analysed the scoring of class X students question-wise during the Board examination, in addition to aggregate marks, to identify weak and strong areas of the subject.
Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Secretary, Bhagirath Shetye, said from this year, they will maintain the database of question wise marks obtained by each Class X students for Mathematics, Science and English in addition to aggregate marks.
The Board has identified the weak and strong areas question wise of the students and the data collected will be submitted to respective schools for improvement.
“The analysis will help the schools and teachers to improve in the weak areas. It will also improve the students’ performance over the years,” Shetye said.
