Independent attacks govt for failure to restart mining

PONDA: Stating that the government has failed to restart mining in the State and fulfil many other assurances that were given during the assembly election, Ponda Vikas Samiti (PVS) appealed the voters to vote for independent candidates and reject the ruling BJP-MGP alliance candidates in the ZP elections.

Addressing a news conference at Ponda on Tuesday, PVS President Ram Cuncolekar along with Secretary Milind Madgut asked the voters to reject the ruling BJP-MGP alliance candidates to teach a lesson to the ruling party in the State.
“Inflation and corruption are on the rise in the State due to inefficiency of the government, which cause sufferings to common man. The BJP government had assured to create jobs for thousands of unemployed youth, but it is far from reality and the government has also failed to pay about Rs 3,000 per month to the unemployed youth,” alleged Cuncolekar.
