CUNCOLIM: Cuncolim Municipal Council Chairperson Laxman Naik hoisted tricolour at Cuncolim Municipal Chowk to mark the 75th Independence Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Naik reviewed the development that has taken place in the country in the last 75 years. India has made great strides in a short span of time in various fields and we should praise those who have contributed to the formation of the country.
Chief Officer Violet Gomes also shared her thoughts. Municipal waste collectors and drivers were honoured on the occasion. Councillor and Congress leader Yuri Alemao was present.
