Indian Museum in Kolkata Receives Bomb Threat via Email, Police Take Precautionary Measures

A bomb threat received via email at the Indian Museum in Kolkata led to immediate action from the police. The police, not willing to take any risks, deployed a bomb squad to the location. As a safety precaution, all visitors were evacuated, and entry to the museum was sealed off.

Authorities suspect the credibility of the bomb threat email, considering it potentially a hoax. Similar emails originating from the United States have been reported in recent times.

The sender of the email claiming affiliation with a group called “Terrorizers111” added to the investigation’s complexity.
