VASCO:  Mormugao Deputy Collector urged people from Dabolim and nearby areas and people above 45-year-old and those who are in the frontline workers category should visit a vaccination centre at Rajhans theatre of Navy in Dabolim and get them vaccinated.

When contacted Sachin Desai, Deputy Collector Mormugao said, “Indian Navy has set up a vaccination centre in their premises specifically at the Rajhans Theatre Navy near Dabolim Airport. But despite this centre being open for all people above 45 years of age for COVID-19 vaccination, there is lukewarm response from the people.”

Desai further said people should go to this centre without hesitation and should take a jab. “Indian Navy has done a great job by starting this vaccination centre because of which much of the workload of the State government staff will be reduced to some extent such as deploying medical staff, data entry operating staff etc. All such logistical and manpower is being used by the Navy of their own” he added.
