PANJIM: Minister for Industries Vishwajit Rane on Friday said that the State government is looking at attracting foreign investment through Japan, into the pharma sector in Goa.
Goa was part of the panel for India-Japanese video conference on Medical Device and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) sector conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs.
State Industries Secretary Nila Mohanan and Director Industrial Development Corporation Purti Kathpalia represented Goa on the panel.
Rane tweeted, “Goa is currently the fourth largest pharma hub in the country, making it lucrative choice for investment for the Japanese stakeholders.”
“We aim to get foreign investments into the State and welcome them to transform the definition of ease of doing business,” he tweeted further.
