A calf in Badem, Goa, was seriously injured after being run over by a vehicle late on February 27. The frightened mother ran away from the scene. Volunteers from WAG, along with Rohitdas, rescued the injured calf and took it to the WAG Shelter in Siolim for treatment. The following morning, the team traced the mother and reunited her with her baby. Both are now under care at the shelter and recovering well.
