PONDA: The Forest officials on Monday rescued an injured seven-month-old leopard cub at Pratapnagar, Dharbandora following a five-hour ordeal and later sent the wild cat to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary.
After receiving information from the locals on the presence of an injured leopard in the bushes in a forest, the officials rushed to the site.
The rescue operation commenced in the morning, but it took the officials five hours to rescue the ferocious wild cat.
