MAPUSA: An Olive Ridley turtle was rescued by the staff of Pisco on Anjuna beach after it was found by them stuck in a fishing net.
The turtle was spotted behind the restaurant after high tide left it at a rock. The hotel staff with the help of the Chameleon Wildlife organisation’s team rescued it from the net. The turtle was handed over to the Forest Department for treatment as it had suffered injuries.
