The Goa Lokayukta P K Mishra, vide report dated September 14, 2020, had recommended an administrative inquiry by the ACB into the tendering process of the council. The Lokayukta in his report under Section 16(1)(a) of the Goa Lokayukta Act 2011 further recommended that the inquiry should be conducted by a responsible officer, not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police within a period of 60 days from the receipt of the report.
