Rooting firmly for locals to rule Goa, TMC

Mamata Banerjee said Insiders will decide how many seats, Goa TMC will
contest. Asked about division of votes, she shot back asking will only TMC
divide votes? Why don’t you ask this question to other parties. They have
contested so many elections. Should only
Delhi people contest? On alliances, she said it would be a collective decision
and added, “If anyone is interested to work with us we will be happy.”
“My agenda for Goa is to see Goa strong,” Mamata replied when
asked about her plans for Goa. She assured to cater to different to different
sections of society, especially, the youth, women and other sections. In the
forthcoming elections, Mamata assured to give more tickets to women and young
faces. “ Let Goans rule Goa, not Delhi. We will put in place a system so that
Goans rule Goa,” she added.
Mamata Banerjee underlined the economic
mismanagement of Goa and assured to formulate a Mining Policy for restarting of
mining. She also assured to give emphasis on generating employment in the
tourism sector. Asked to comment on the Sarkar Tumchea Dari programme of the
BJP govt in Goa, Didi said it has been copied from Bengal. “Let them implement
it,” she said.
Tennis Legend Leander Paes who joined TMC
said that he had been helped by Didi as the Sports Minister “I will make a
difference to youth of Goa and the whole country.” First the vehicle I used was
Tennis, now it will be politics. He remarked that Didi is a true champion,
adding I too have a vision for India.
