PANJIM: A team of Panjim Police busted an inter-State mobile thief racket with the arrest of two of its members, on Thursday.
Salman Ahmad, aged 25 years, and Mohd Danish, aged 32 years both are hailing from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The police have recovered 22 high-end mobile phones and a two-wheeler from their possession, total value of which is estimated at around Rs 5 lakh.
The police said that the accused are involved in mobile snatching as well as theft of these gadgets in the capital city and adjoining areas. They are charged under various Sections of Indian Penal Code and remanded to four days of police custody.
