PANJIM: The Pilerne Citizens Forum (PCF) on Saturday alleged that the Investment Promotion Board (IPB) has given in principal approval to seven eco-tourism projects, in the no development zone and green slope areas of Bardez.
Addressing the media, PCF President Prakash Bandokar said that IPB has given in principal approvals to seven eco-tourism hotel based projects in the no developmental zone of Bardez but none of the areas allotted for the projects have been mapped in the Regional Plan 2021.
“For now we have just exposed the area of Bardez, in a month’s time we are going to expose many such areas across Goa,” Bandokar said.
He said PCF will move the court, if the IPB and the government do not reject the permissions within one month.
