IPB approves 7 projects with Rs 180 cr proposed investment

PANJIM: The Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (IPB) approved seven projects with proposed investments of Rs 180 crores and employment potential of 1,208 persons. 

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant chaired the 35th meeting of the IPB where it reviewed the progress of already approved projects and ‘Ease of Doing Business’ initiatives.

The projects approved were a food processing and cold storage by M/s Fresh De Goa Seafoods LLP at Sanguem industrial estate with proposed investment of Rs 20 crore and 250 jobs; a food processing and cold storage by M/s Goa Marine Products Pvt Ltd at Sanguem industrial estate with Rs 23 crore proposed investment and employment potential of 250 persons;  Manufacturing -electrical by M/s Finolex Cables Ltd at Verna industrial estate with proposed investment of Rs 20 crore and 34 jobs; manufacturing by M/s Siemens Ltd at Verna industrial estate with investment of Rs 50 crore and 31 jobs; manufacturing -based product by M/s A&G Sequeira Enterprise LLP at Pissurlem industrial estate with investment of Rs 4.57 crore and 110 jobs; manufacturing-food supplements and consumables by M/s Mapple Bud Pvt Ltd at Panchawadi industrial estate with proposed investment of Rs 3 crore and 41 jobs and logistics by M/s Maritime Global Logistics & Warehousing Corp at Verna industrial estate with proposed investment of Rs 49.2 crore and employment potential of 492 persons.
