MARGAO: Isha Sudesh Naik was elected unopposed as sarpanch of Rumdamol Panchayat.
The panchayat is facing problems such as sewage, garbage, and shortage of revenue.
Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro congratulated Isha on being elected as the Sarpanch.
“I wish her all the best in her endeavours. I would also like to thank the outgoing sarpanch Mohammed Saimulla Azad Fanniband for his efforts in developing the panchayat,” said Luizinho.
