PANJIM: Canacona BJP MLA Isidore Fernandes is appointed as the chairman of Goa Forest Development Corporation Limited (GFDCL). Fernandes was amongst those 10 Congress legislators, who has joined ruling BJP in July.
Under Secretary (Forest) Shaila Bhosle has issued an order appointing Fernandes as the chairman of GFDCL.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Deputy Conservator of Forest (South Goa) are the directors on the Board of Corporation.
