PANJIM: “One who doesn’t believe in karma or action is not fit to live in this world,” is what Chief Secretary R K Srivastav said at the Festival of Spiritual Awakening on the 50th anniversary of ISKON on Saturday.
He was speaking while launching a Goa Book of ‘The Journey Home’ authored by Radhanath Swami at the two-day festival. “One who doesn’t believe in karma or action is not fit to live in this world. Everyone is supposed to work sincerely and peace will prevail in society,” he said.
ISKON is offering a two-day Festival of Spiritual Awakening Maha Jagruti 2016 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim. World renowned spiritual leader Radhanath Swami thereafter delivered an exclusive discourse on the topic ‘Crossing the Border Line’ that saw hundreds of people attending the talk including Maha Jagruti’s organizing committee’s chairman Srinivas Dempo and other spiritual leaders.
Swami, a US-born, has more than 7,500 sessions to his credit since 1990. One of the highest sought-after speakers across different country, Swami will deliver a talk on ‘Yoga on Love’ on Sunday.
