MARGAO: Income Tax sleuths on Saturday took custody of cash of Rs 73.50 lakh which was seized by the Konkan Railway police from two natives of Sangli a fortnight ago at the Margao railway station.
KR police in-charge PI Santosh Desai said the police have written a letter to the IT department to conduct a probe into the seizure.
The KR station had arrested the two natives of Sangli while waiting for a train at the Margao railway station.
