CANACONA: Four members of a family from Tivim escaped with minor injuries in a road mishap involving their car and an oncoming passenger bus along the Karmalghat slope early Saturday morning.
Police has identified the injured as Satish Chandra Poste (47), Sujata Poste (42), Anikesh Poste (17) and Kusmavati Poste (68), all from Madel Colony at Tivim.
According to police reports, the car was heading towards Canacona and the passenger bus was proceeding from Karwar to Panjim via Margao, when the two vehicles collided along a blind curve at Karmalghat.
The driver and passengers in the bus, however, escaped unhurt in the mishap.
All the injured car occupants were first moved to Community Health Centre (CHC), Chaudi, and after first aid were later shifted to Hospicio at Margao.
