It’s a bumpy ride to GMC for patients!

Families of patients complain of bad roads

PANJIM: The families of patients admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC) have complained about the bad conditions of the roads approaching the hospital, which have worsened following the cyclone and rainfall.

There is a similar chaos while entering the hospital from Panjim/St Cruz roads.

At the end of concretised flyover opposite Bambolim military camp, the stretch of road towards the hospital has given way. The potholes have deepened so much so that vehicles are forced to slow down, which creates a bottleneck.

“Ambulances can be seen commuting on this bumpy road. It is painful experience for the patients ferried in these ambulances,” complained Nicholas Fernandes, a resident of St Andre.
