Reacting to the report on Herald, “Encroachers block prime Tourism dept, GTDC properties” (April 2), wherein his name figures among the encroachers, Fernandes said, “The information given by the department is totally false and misguiding as it is me who has gone to the court against the Tourism Department for encroaching in my property.”
He said, “They had encroached on my property Survey No 148/1 and again tried to do so on Survey No 148/2 against which I have moved the court.”
