PANJIM: The visit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health Minister J P Nadda for laying foundation stone of the State BJP Bhavan on Kadamba plateau scheduled on Saturday has been cancelled. Now, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadavanis will lay the foundation stone of BJP Bhavan at 4 pm on Saturday.
Fadnavis will later address the party workers at Taleigao Community Hall, informed BJP state President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sadanand Shet Tanavade. The entire programme will be telecast live for the convenience of party workers and well wishers, he said.
Earlier, Nadda was supposed the lay the foundation stone and address party workers at 11 am.
Tanavade along with BJP national General secretary Vinod Tawde and party’s Goa desk incharge Ashish Sood visited the construction site of the proposed BJP Bhavan at the Kadamba Plateau, Chimbel.
