Jalmi Devasthan at Guleli will be renovated soon: Vishwajit

VALPOI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Tuesday assured beginning the renovation work of Jalmi Devasthan, Shel-Melauli before December and said that the foundation stone for the same will be laid by his father and former chief minister Pratapsingh Rane. 

Rane had called a meeting to iron out differences between him and the villagers on the IIT issue.

He appealed Guleli locals to stay united against dividing forces and announced several provisioned projects for the upliftment of the village.

“Special efforts will be put to develop sports in Sattari. Three Futsal grounds will be built soon and there are a total 14 such grounds provisioned for the taluka. The disagreements from the past should be forgotten,” said Rane.

Guleli sarpanch Nitish Gaude, Nagargao ZP member Rajashri Kale, panch members Akshita Gaude, Jyoti Gaonkar, Siddhu Gaonkar, Santoshi Naik, Ratnakar Kaskar and Prashanti Melekar were present on the dais. Rane and social worker Vinod Shinde were felicitated on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Rane presented cash prizes of Rs 50,000, Rs 35,000 and Rs 25,000 to the first three rank holders from Government High School, Guleli at SSC examinations in the memory of his grandmother Manorama Rane Sardesai.
