Jharkhand native held for raping 19-year-old

A 35-year-old man from Jharkhand has been arrested on charges of raping a 19-year-old woman at knife point at the victim’s house in Verna on Friday night.
The accused, Pyaara Dang, a labourer at the Verna Industrial Estate, allegedly raped his neighbour at knife point, when her husband had gone to work on Friday night, informed Verna PI Jivba Dalvi
Both the accused and victim are from Jharkhand and have been residing in rented houses at Verna.
Acting on a complaint, Verna police arrested the accused under Sections 342, 376 and 506 (2) of IPC and is investigating the case.
