Jharkhand native remanded

MARGAO: The Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao on Sunday a Jharkhand native, Ravi Goke in judicial custody for one-day. Ravi is wanted in his native state for murders and attempted murders.
The accused was arrested by Margao police on Friday night while he was admitted at Health Centre, Cansaulim for treatment of malaria.
 The Margao police are known to have asked for 14 days judicial custody or until such time when his custody is taken by Jharkhand police. Ravi was arrested under section 41 of CrPC from the Cansaulim health centre on Friday at 1.30 am and he was found to be accompanied by a girl, major in age, who has been sent to Apna Ghar. DySP Mohan Naik informed that Jharkhand police officials have been informed of arrest of Ravi and a police team was on its way to Margao to take custody of the hardcore criminal.
