VASCO: The former NCP State chief Jose Philip D’Souza has reacted to the article ‘NCP hopes to break deadlock’ published in a local daily, where Adv Avinash Bhosle, General Secretary of NCP has made some objectionable statements.
Adv Bhosle made a statement that “Volvoikar was appointed as the State NCP Chief because D’Souza had failed to take the party to a higher level in Goa in the capacity of the party’s president as well as a cabinet minister.
“Adv Avinash Bhosle charge that under my leadership the party was not taken to desired heights was solely because Adv Bhosle was the general secretary of organising the party during my tenure as president and also during the tenure of Dr Carmo Pegado, Prof Surendra Sirsat and Nilkant Halarnkar. Avinash Bhosle has always misguided party presidents and was solely responsible for the party remaining stagnant in the State.”
This fact remains crystal clear as Bhosle failed to even constitute Panaji Block Committee. The reputation of Bhosle is well known to the people of Panjim as a man who sell his dignity (if he has any?) for left over crumbs which become clear from the 7 votes he secured at the last Panjim Corporation election.
The sudden love of Avinash Bhosle for Suhas Volvoikar whose very credentials are in doubts in the minds of people of Goa has further exposed Avinash Bhosle as a saleable commodity.
