PANJIM: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) will pronounce on Thursday the order on three bail applications filed by senior journalist Rupesh Samant while granting him bail in one charge of molestation.
Defence lawyers Raju Poulekar and Gaurish Agni argued on Tuesday that the women police station has slapped non-bailable charges when the complaints do not indicate so.
PP Tema Narvekar challenged the bail applications stating that the police need Samant for further custodial interrogation. “Two days is not sufficient,” she said.
