PANJIM: A martial arts trainer from Bicholim was arrested by the police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old minor boy under the garb of medical test.
The police have booked Kapil Deulkar, Under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 8 (2) of Goa Children’s Act. The victim alleged that the accused sexually assaulted him in the name of medical examination. The victim has been medically examined and statements to this effect has been recorded by the police with the help of an NGO.
The accused imparted karate training to several boys and girls. The Women Police Station officials have registered an offence in this connection and are conducting further investigations.
