AGONDA: Karmal Ghat in Canacona which has become infamous for life-taking accidents will soon have a retaining wall. So far nine mishaps have been reported here in recent times.
The actual work will begin from Wednesday. The road from Bhumipurush Devasthan to Agonda junction will be widened by two metres and a safety compound will be erected.
Besides, structures will be erected on each curve where it is prone to accidents.
