MARGAO: Colva Police on Tuesday arrested one Ganesh Dasur of Haveri-Karnataka in possession with narcotic substance suspected to be ganja worth Rs 1.32 lakh.
Colva Police Station Police Sub-Inspector Deepa Deykar conducted a raid at parking lot of Zalor Beach, Carmona and seized from Ganesh narcotic substance suspected to be ganja weighing 1.90 grams.
The ganja was seized under search and seizure panchnama.
Police Sub-Inspector Ajeet Velip has lodged the complaint on behalf of State and an offence under Section of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act has been registered.
Further investigation is in progress.
