Another 86 Goan seafarers signed off from Karnika Cruise on Thursday evening. The ship was close to Mumbai Port with over 158 Indian seafarers as they have been in Indian Waters for almost 62 days.
Information with the media revealed that the Goan seafarers are set to travel to Goa after completing all the formalities. The State government will follow the same procedures as that carried out on over 60 seafarers of Marella Discovery.
The government last week had said that the crew of Angriya and Karnika are likely to come to Goa in mid-May. The shipping companies have finalised hotels to be used as quarantine centres for their disembarking seafarers.
