PANJIM: The result of the State-level Children’s Drawing Competition recently organized by Kala Academy has been declared. The competition was organized in three categories – primary level, middle-school level and high-school level.
In Category A at primary level Sanat V Sawant (G V M S K G Primary School, Ponda) awarded first prize whereas Trishaa G Pai Vernekar (Dr K B Hedgewar Primary School, Panjim) and Om P Naik (Vidhya Bharati, Margao) secured second and third prizes, respectively. Avni A Bene (The Little Penguins, Ribandar). Gautam Kumar Gupta (Miracles Primary School, Sanguem).Titiksh S Patil (G S Amonkar Vidhya Mandir, Mapusa). Tanisha Shaik Mohamed (Deepvihar Primary School, Vasco) and Sanvi Amol Naik (Shri Saraswati Primary Marathi School, Curchorem) were given consolation prizes in this category.
In Category B at primary level Vithoba V Shet (Our Lady of Grace High School, Bicholim) awarded first prize whereas Aniket Devendra Naik (V D S S V Wagle High School, Mangeshi) and Vidhi Sanjay Shet (A J de Almedia High School, Ponda) secured second and third prizes, respectively. Vishvesh S Kerkar (Dada Vaidya High School, Ponda), Jash S Gawas Dessai (The New Education Institute, Curchorem), Nupoor N Pendse (Deepvihar High School, Vasco), Kuntal Bar (Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 Vasco) and Jugal S Chari (K B Hedgewar High School, Panjim) were given consolation prizes in this category.
In Category C at primary level Sudhin S Menon (Shri Katyayani Baneshwar Vidyalaya, Canacona) awarded first prize whereas Aditya Bharat Patil (Deepvihar High School, Vasco) and Tejas G Vadil (Union High School, Sanguem) secured second and third prizes, respectively. Sohani Pandurang Gawade (Mandre High School, Mandre), Rahul A Fernandes (The New Education Institute, Curchorem), Anagha Atmaram Gawade (G S Amonkarb Vidya Mandir, Mapusa), Aishwarya Satyavan Dabholkar (New Goa G.S Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa) and Tanmay H Bhagat (S S Samitis I V B D High School, Dhavli) were given consolation prizes in this category.
At taluka level in Category D i.e at Higher Secondary Level very limited entries were received considering the less number of participation at taluka level, the state level competition was not conducted for Higher Secondary Level. By combining entries at taluka level, the result was declared accordingly. Asavari Gurav (St Xavier Higher Secondary School, Mapusa) was awarded first prize whereas Abhijeet R Parsekar (Purushottom Walawalkar Higher Secondary School Mapusa) and Sarvesh Gurudas Naik (Purushottom Walwalkar Higher Secondary School Mapusa) secured second and third prizes, respectively. Pooja G Naik (Dr K B Hedgewar Higher Secondary School Panjim), Arnav Y N Rasaikar (Damodar Higher Secondary School Margao), Laxmikant Gaonkar (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Valpoi), Navjyot Tulshidas Shirodkar (Shri Bhumika Higher Secondary School Porye Sattari) and Saahil V Sawant (Dr K B Hedgewar Higher Secondary School, Panjim) were given consolation prizes in this category. This competition was judged by Sidharth Kosavi, Sachin Naik and Vinita Chendvankar. The prize distribution function of taluka and state level will be declared at a later stage.
