PONDA: Kavlem panchyat restores electricity hiring private contractor and with help of local youth on Tuesday.
Sarpanch Rajesh Kavlekar said electricity poles were damaged at almost four places which were replaced by contractor hired by Kavlem Panchayat. Kavlekar said AE Keshav Gaude gave his cooperation in solving problem. The crane was hired for replacing poles. Mant youth too provided support to the workers hired by contractors in restoring electric lines, replacing poles.
Earlier the team of villagers had cleared trees collapsed at ten places in the village without waiting for fire personnel considering the need of hour. Locals appreciated Sarpanch and youth for their hard work.
