VASCO: Aam Admi Party (AAP) national leader and Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal arrived in State, on Tuesday.
AAP volunteers, supporters along with the media persons who were eagerly waiting to interact and welcome Kejriwal were dodged by the leader.
In a shocking scenario at the Dabolim Airport on Tuesday afternoon, AAP national leader Kejrival arrived at the Dabolim Airport and left in a hurry without interacting with the media or receiving a formal welcome at the airport. Later, AAP leader Adv Pratima Coutinho blamed airport police for not allowing Kejriwal to interact with the people waiting for him citing a reason of COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures. “The people who were at the airport were more than happy to get a glimpse of AAP leader Kejriwal,” she claimed.
Meanwhile, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar praised the ‘good works’ carried out by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Sudin and his brother, president of MGP Goa Deepak Dhavalikar, had a 45-minute-long meeting with Kejriwal. “We had no discussions about forming an alliance. This is a courtesy meet,” said Sudin.
When asked what they spoke about, Sudin said Kejriwal has done good work in Delhi that has benefited the public. Sudin tried to draw parallels with the good work, he (Sudin) had done in Goa as the former PWD Minister and gave example of the work he had with the Water Supply division
