“Kejriwal will pay homage to three icons of Goa’s history – Dr T B Cunha (freedom fighter), Bhausaheb Bandodkar (first chief minister) and Dr Jack de Sequeira (first leader of the opposition) – on Monday (May 23) morning,” AAP Goa said in a statement.
The party said Kejriwal, will arrive in Goa on Sunday by a civilian flight and be driven by an AAP Goa volunteer to Campal grounds where he will address a rally.
The party said that over the last two weeks, Goa has responded enthusiastically to the AAP volunteers meeting people and inviting them to the meeting on Sunday.
“Door-to-door campaigns, audio-visual presentations at street corners and AAP volunteers transforming themselves into ‘human banners’ have created unprecedented awareness of the visit of Kejriwal to trigger a political revolution and cleanse the politics of Goa of rampant corruption and unworthy political satraps,” the party has said.
Kejriwal will leave for Delhi on Monday afternoon but in the morning will hold a closed-door interaction with the party organisation and volunteers.
