PONDA: The body of Sitaram Krishna Girodkar (63) a resident of Bonayewada Savoiverem, was found on Tuesday morning lying on ground under a tree at Bhutkhamb, Kerim. A cotton clothe rope was found around his neck and the police suspect that Sitaram might have committed suicide by hanging to a tree. His body might have fallen to the due to its weight. Ponda police conducted panchanama of the place where the body was found. They are investigating the incident from all angles.
It is learnt that when Sitaram left from home on Monday, he had informed his family members that he was going on a visit to his father-in-law’s house at Connem in Priol.
