BICHOLIM: Taking the cognizance of rise in corona cases in Bicholim taluka the state administration has decided to use the premises of Keshav Sewa Sadhana school situated at Sarvan village in Bicholim taluka as a Covid Care Centre which has been functional since 17th July.
Bicholim mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit who has been appointed as the incharge of said covid care centre said that about 8 asymtomatic patients from Bicholim taluka have been shifted to this Centre on 17th July.
Bicholim CHC health officer Dr Medha Salkar who is conducting the check-up of these patients said that about 20 beds were occupied of this care centre as on Saturday 18th July and the total capacity of this centre is of 60 beds.
