VASCO: Residents of Vasco can look forward to a significant transformation of key areas in the city, including Swatantra Path, Father Vaz Road, and FL Gomes Marg, as beautification and infrastructure enhancement projects gain momentum as the process has already commenced and is being expedited.
A team of technical experts from a consultancy firm based in Pune recently made their second visit to Vasco to assess various aspects of the beautification project. Their inspection covered elements such as parking facilities, street lighting, underground cabling, and footpath beautification. Furthermore, plans are underway to designate Swatantra Path and F L Gomes Road as one way single lane traffic, and this may be a significant decision.
Simultaneously, work on the Rs 18-crore project at the site of the Old Power House in Baina has already commenced.
