VASCO: The Khadi and Village industries Board (KVIB) recently organised an awareness camp at Velsao-Pale-Issorcim panchayat hall about the various self-employment opportunities and schemes offered by the Board.
KVIB chairman and MLA Anton Vas appealed to the unemployed youth to avail optimum benefits of more than 100 various schemes of the Board and to start self-employment with subsidies to the extent of 90 per cent in some of the schemes.
He said that the KVIB can sanction up to Rs 50 lakh sanction to start self-employment and hoped that the unemployed youth will avail them. He also announced that similar camps will be organised in different village panchayats for the benefit of people.
