The Khajan Gundo Bandh at Parsem was inaugurated in 2015, but since its inauguration, there has been neither maintenance nor repairs done to the bandh. Due to this, the salt water enters the field thereby damaging the crops and causing a loss and inconvenience to farmers. Locals have requested the MLA Jit Arolkar to repair the bandh. Arolkar has assured to take up the beautification works of the bandh. However, the previous MLA took up the beautification works of the Bandh as well but was unable to complete it.
