PANJIM: A State Co-ordination Committee under former Union Minister Ramakant Khalap is constituted to oversee effective overhaul of Congress State organisation to reconstitute the Booth, Block and District Pradesh committees of the party.
The Co-ordination Committee, with MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco as its vice-chairman will also launch the membership drive in the State ahead of 2022 elections to the State Assembly.
The All India Congress committee (AICC) General Secretary KC Venugopal has issued a press statement in this regard.
